WordPress 2.9 is here.

Posted on December 19th, 2009 in Page.ly News | Comments Off

WordPress 2.9 has been released.  A good bit of major features have been added.

With a major release like this, page.ly will hold off for a week or two before updating your sites automatically. You are of course free to update at any time. Just click the the Please update now link at the top of your wp-admin page.

Page.ly will customarily update incremental versions like 2.8.5 -2.8.6 immediately. However on a more significant release like this, we will wait a week or two before upgrading, just too allow a bit more time for everything (themes, plugins, etc) to catch up.
