It’s been a 10 week process of sever setup and app re-factoring, but today our new infrastructure system is moving from active development into active testing. This is kind of a big deal for us. Our company has grown from it’s humble beginnings to serving thousands of clients for Managed Hosting for WordPress in these last 18 months. This new system upgrade will enable us to scale quicker and smoother in the future, and every customer will see a speed, performance, and reliability boost across the board. Huzzah.
Over the next 10-15 days we will be running hundreds of test install and teardowns, tuning the configuration for performance and speed, and load testing to uncover any bottlenecks.
After this hot lap is complete we will begin provisioning all new customers sites to the new system and begin moving existing sites in blocks over a week long period in roughly the following order.
- Customers using our NameServers
- Customers using CNAME records to map
- Customers using A records to map
Scheduled maintenance/downtime windows will be published shortly. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact support.
