The time has come.
It has been months under development, but this weekend we will begin the switch over to our new infrastructure stack. We want to let everyone know there will be an extended maintenance window beginning September 10th lasting through September 19th. Work will be performed in the late evening between 10pm-6am CST daily throughout the window.
We do not expect any extended periods of downtime as the switchover primarily consists of internal network changes as we re-route incoming traffic over to the new load balancers. Individual sites may see a few minutes of outage as they are synced and moved over, again late in the evening. Finally we do snapshots of the entire system daily and will be making additional snapshots prior any system event.
Thank you for your patience. We are really excited to complete this major upgrade to our systems to serve you better.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask here or via support ticket at http://support.page.ly

Will individual site owners be notified when their site is running on 3.0?
No. We are moving them in large blocks, a few hundred at a time.
Are we going to be able to load larger mp3 files than 22mg?
Is that something you need? submit a ticket: support.page.ly
